Jiribam Municipal Council organises Lok Kalyan Mela 2025

Jiribam, September 23 2025: The Jiribam Municipal Council on Tuesday organized a special campaign, Lok Kalyan Mela 2025, under the PM SVANidhi scheme at the Council's Conference Hall in Jiribam.

The event aimed to mobilize new applications under the restructured PM-SVANidhi scheme, facilitate loan disbursement for already sanctioned applications and conduct socio-economic profiling of street vendors and their families.

The Mela saw participation from representatives of various banks, including Punjab National Bank, Manipur State Cooperative Bank Jiribam, and Bandhan Bank Ltd, Jiribam, as well as members of the Town Vending Committee.

The Lok Kalyan Mela 2025 is a significant initiative by the Jiribam Municipal Council to support street vendors and promote their economic well-being.

The event demonstrates the council's commitment to implementing government schemes and programs that benefit the local community.
