Yoga Teachers' Training Course begins

Imphal, August 23 2026: A 25-day "Assistant Yoga Teachers' Training Course" was officially inaugurated today at Flash Mandap, Wahengbam Leikai, Imphal.

The training program is being jointly organised by the Bharat Swabhiman (Trust) and Patanjali Yog Samiti, Imphal West District.

Around 40 trainees are participating in the programme, which is scheduled to continue until September 16 .

The inaugural ceremony was graced by dignitaries, including Ksh Gopendra Singh, Rajya Prabhari, Bharat Swabhiman (Trust), Manipur State; Dr L Haridas Singh, Organising Secretary, Bharat Swabhiman (Trust), Manipur State; Dr A Ranjit Singh: General Secretary, Bharat Swabhiman (Trust), Manipur State; M Charan Singh: District Prabhari, Bharat Swabhiman (Trust), Imphal West; Kh Mema Devi, District Prabhari, Patanjali Yog Samiti, Imphal West: and Dr L Sivananda Sharma.

During the event, experienced Yoga teachers along with State and District Prabharis shared essential information and guidance related to the training with the participating trainees.
