Imphal, April 23 2025: Public Library Mayang Imphal celebrated its 15th Foundation Day at Government Hindi Teachers' Training College, DM University campus today.

It was attended by Public Library Mayang Imphal vice president, Ningthoukhongjam Sundari; All India Federation of Retired University 4 College Teachers' Organisation (AIFRUCTO) vice president, L Randhoni Devi; Government Hindi Teachers' Training College, Principal, Prof Th Asha Sinha; Department of Art & Culture, former Asst Director, Haobam Chitra Devi and MB College Imphal, former Vice Principal, Dr RK Indira as presidium members.

As part of the event, the 1 st Rajkumar Jhaljit Literary Award 2025 was presented to Nongmaithem Kirankumaf for his book, "Leishabi Macha Amagi Diary".

The "Public Library Athoiba Luploi Mana" was also presented to Laishram Loidamtombi Devi and Khuraijam Kanta Kha-Nganba.

"Lantheng", a souvenir of Public Library Mayang Imphal was also released.

A poem recitation session was also conducted chaired by Chongtham Ongbi Subadani, former Principal of Standard College, Kongba.
