Free heart screening camp organised at Thoubal

Thoubal, June 22 2025: A one-day free heart screening camp was conducted today at Thoubal Melaground from 9 am onwards giving an opportunity to the people of the district for early detection of asymptomatic and symptomatic heart disease at their doorstep.

According to a press release, the camp was organised by Sky Hospital in association with Mela Ground Youths, Highway Star Union and sponsored by Manipur Heart Foundation, Imphal.

During the camp, 71 patients received free OPD consultation, echo tests were administered to 22 patients, ECGs to 42 and blood sugar tests were conducted for 30 patients.

Free medicines were also distributed to the patients.

The camp provided free heart disease detection facilities not only to the people of Thoubal but also the surrounding areas.
