Imphal, March 22 2026: President of the NSCN/GPRN (YA) Yung Aung has conveyed its greetings to the Naga people on the 46th Naga National Republic Day.

In a press note, he said that the Nagas are endowed with the sacred rights by God to be a Nation.

He also said that Nagas too have the sovereign right of self-defence like every person on earth.

Saluting the Naga Army, he said that they (the Naga Army) are ready to defend every inch of the Naga territory and safeguard "our sovereignty" at all cost.

He also saluted all the Naga martyrs.

Saying that Naga people's right to National freedom and National unity is indispensable, he said that the painful experience of the past must act as a catalyst to refine and improve the course of Naga National movement.

History does not reward confused political ideologies and fragmented voices, he added.
