KSA organises bike rally

Imphal, February 22 2026: Kangleipak Students' Association (KSA) flagged off a bike rally from Kangla as a part of the 14th Kanglei Mega Sports Festival 2026.The bike rally culminated at Sendra in Bishnupur district.

Speaking in this connection, KSA president Seram Hemjit commented on the use of narcotic substances by youths in the name of celebrating Yaoshang leading to unfortunate crimes and the practice of seeking petty donations.

In view of such circumstances, the bike rally was organised to turn youth's focus on sports and away from toxic habits.

KSA started organising the Kanglei Mega Sports Festival from 2012 and for this year, the sports festival will commence from March 2 and conclude on March 7 .

According to the KSA president, around 700 people participated in the bike rally.

At the flagging off event, Dr Mayengbam Veto, Director, Youth Affairs and Sports (YAS) lauded KSA for organising the bike rally.

He called upon the public to take part in KSA's sports festival and assured support from the Department.
