Indian Army provides clean drinking water to Dwarika village

Imphal, December 21 2024: Indian Anny's commendable initiative towards nation building and community service was showcased in the form of provision of new drinking water supply under Operation Sadbhavana in Dwarika village near Leimakhong.

The sustainable project included installation of new water pipes, motor pumps, water storage tanks to benefit more than 150 households and 1,000 civil population.

The project has not only ensured the availability of clean and safe drinking water in the village but also contributed to uplift their health and living standards.

The villagers expressed their deepest gratitude to the Indian Army who continues to play a vital role in community development apart from safeguarding the nation.
