TPO holds cultural get-together, announces new office bearers

Imphal, March 20 2026: Thingpui Pare Organisation (TPO) Manipur organised a grand "Get-Together" at Sinam Kom village in Kangpokpi district on March 19, marking the occasion of Sajibu Cheiraoba.

The event also marked the third gathering of the organisation.

As per a release issued by the TPO, the programme featured Kom tribe cultural performances including traditional music, dances, and art presentations reflecting the rich heritage of the Kom community.

A special segment honoured the Thingpui Kom Ningols (married daughters of the Kom community), both within and outside the community, recognizing their enduring bond with their roots and their role in fostering inter-community harmony.

On the occasion, the organisation also announced its newly elected office bearers for the term 2026-2029.Dr TR Kom was appointed as chairman, Th Sumpa Kom as vice-chairman, Th Boyes Kom as secretary, Th Lenpu Kom as asst secretary and Th Ason Kom as treasurer.
