AR conducts medical camp in Chandel

Imphal, February 20 2025: In its ongoing efforts to provide humanitarian assistance and promote healthcare in remote areas, Assam Rifles organised a medical camp at Changpol village under Khengjoi Subdivision, Chandel district.

According to a release issued by the IGAR (South), the medical camp, which was conducted by health experts from Assam Rifles, saw an enthusiastic response from the local community.

A total of 74 civilians, including men, women and children, participated in the camp and availed free medical consultation and treatment.

The medical team provided diagnostic and treatment for various ailments, including respiratory, skin infections, etc.

Medicines were also distributed to the patients.

The medical camp was well-received by the local population, who expressed their gratitude to Assam Rifles for organizing the event.

The camp not only provided much-needed medical assistance to the villagers but also helped to strengthen the bond between the security forces and the local community.
