Bishnupur, December 19 2024: Peace Committee Kangleipak, PCKM, Special 50 distributed winter crop seeds to the farmers of Phougakchao Ikhai and Wangoo Terakhong under Kumbi AC whose agricultural activities have been hampered due to the present conflict in the State.

A total number of 300 farmers from Torbung Gram Panchayat and 65 farmers from Wangoo Terakhong Gram Panchayat, Akasoi were distributed mustard, black gram, lentils, pea and com seeds.

Speaking on the occasion, PCKM secretary, Rajesh Meitei stated that the winter crop seeds were distributed to help the farmers whose agricultural activities have been hampered due to the crisis in the State.

With the hope to enhance their livelihood to some extent, the PCKM, Special 50 in collaboration with the Agriculture Department distributed the seeds for the farmers, he added.
