Imphal, August 18 2025: The 7th Biennial Manipuri Association of Canada (MAC) Convention was held on August 3 in Toronto, Canada.

As per a release issued by MAC, Manipuris residing in different parts of Canada participated in the event.

New office bearers of MAC for the term 2025-2027 were appointed.

All the newly appointed office bearers are women, symbolizing a powerful step forward in women's leadership within the community.

Ranibala Kshetrimayum was appointed as president, Sujata Chabungbam as general secretary and Sujata Nongmaithem as treasurer.

Sunita Thokchom, Asha Devi Laishram, Triveni Laishram, Fony Soram and Sujata Devi were also appointed as executive members.
