Lions Club organises Eye Screening and Cataract Detection Camp

The Lions Club of Imphal Greater, under Lions Clubs International District 322D, successfully organised a "Project VISION - Eye Screening & Cataract Detection Camp" at Vision Plus Eye Hospital, Rims Road, Imphal on Sunday.
As per a release issued by the Lions Club, the camp was conducted under the guidance of Dr Keisham Romen Singh, project chairperson-Vision.
A total of 97 patients availed OPD services and underwent eye screening & cataract detection during the camp.
During the event, Lalit Kumar Kothari, district governor, Lions Clubs International District 322D, commended the Lions members and volunteers for their unwavering dedication and sincere efforts in advancing the Global Cause Project.
Lions members K Lakshmikanta Sharma, L Upendra Sharma, Thongam Arun, Kh Krishnan, Hanjabam Devkanta Sharma, L Shivananda Singh, W Gokulchandra, Dr Konsam Surjit Singh, N Bijoy Singh, Gijen Takhellambam and Thokchom Dijamani Singh actively participated in the camp, offering guidance and support to the visiting patients.
They were joined by Lairenlakpam Ashok Kumar Singh (club president), Tarun Thokchom (club Secretary) and Mayanglambam Gojendra Singh, all of whom played vital roles in ensuring the smooth conduct of the camp.
To honor their commitment, Lairenlakpam Ashok Kumar Singh presented certificates of appreciation to all dedicated volunteers.
