Moirang College to hold Student Induction Programme on July 20-21

Moirang, July 16 2026: Moirang College will organise a two-day Student Induction Programme (SIP) for newly admitted first-semester students of the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUP) under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 on July 20 and 21 at the college's Multipurpose Hall.

According to a release issued by the Principal, the programme is being organised by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in accordance with the UGC Guidelines, 2018 .

It aims to help new students adapt to the academic environment, familiarise themselves with the institution's ethos and culture, build meaningful relationships with peers and faculty members, and encourage self-exploration with a broader sense of purpose.

The college has directed all students admitted to the first semester of the FYUP for the 2026-27 academic session to attend the induction programme without fail, stating that their presence is mandatory.
