Kakching, June 16 2026: A new block named "Salam Chandrashekhar Singh Memorial Block" was inaugurated today at the Heritage Complex of Angaan Ching Eco Park, Kakching, as part of ADAM's "U-wa Tharasi, U-wa Hinghalasi" campaign and "Greening the Rocks of Angaaan Ching" .

The memorial block was developed and sponsored by Salam Boby Singh, younger brother of late Salam Chandrashekhar Singh, and his family members as a tribute to his memory.

The inaugural function was attended by ADAM secretary and coordinator of the Management Committee of Angaan Ching Eco Park, Surjit Kshetrimayum; Dr N Rajendro, Honorary Consultant of the Eco Park; Biramangol Pukhrambam, Honorary Caretaker of the park; along with family members of Late Chandrashekhar Singh.
