Imphal, June 15 2026: The sashing ceremony of Miss Universe Manipur 2026 was held today at Classic Hotel, North AOC, with 20 contestants participating.

Miss Universe Manipur State Director Robert Naorem announced that the grand finale will be held on June 21 at Chandrakirti Auditorium, Palace Compound.

He said the pageant aims beyond glamour, urging public support for the event.

Renowned Mumbai-based model Sheetal Sharma will direct and choreograph the show, bringing her national expertise to the pageant.

The jury will feature Miss Universe India 2025 Manika Vishwakarma and Amjad Khan, National Director of Operations, lending the finale both glamour and industry insight.

Adding further prestige, Noyonita Lodh, Miss Universe India 2014, will mentor and groom the contestants in the run-up to the grand finale.

Robert Naorem added that the winner will represent Manipur at the national level and, if selected, at Miss Universe.

Till the finale, contestants will conduct HIV/AIDS awareness, tree plantation, and cleanliness drives.

The event is powered by Kisna Diamonds and Jewellery, Thangmeiband, co-powered by PCTC, and supported by Manipur AIDS Control Society and For Better Kangleipak.

The pageant will also showcase the State's rich culture, traditional attire, and local products.
