Imphal, February 15 2026: The blessing ceremony of the Manipuri feature film "Luhongba" was held today at the Tanthapolis Cinemain Lamphel Sanakeithel.

The film is produced by Irengbam Basanta (Penao) under the banner of Young Film Production and Oleander Production House, in partnership with Prime Legal.

The event was attended by notable figures, including Oinam Lukhoi Singh, former MLA of Wangoi AC; Laimayum Surjakanta Sharma, former chairman of Film Forum Manipur; and Tej Kshetri, president of Cine Actor Guild Manipur.

The story and screenplay for the film were written by Preety Irengbam, and the director is Thoiba Soibam.

The cast includes Jamz Saikhom, Sushmita Mangsatabam, Tete Sapam, Kishan Chingangbam, Ningthouja Jayvidya, Rk Hemabati, Priyogopal, Puneshwori, Surbala, Rebijita, Manisha, Alina Angom, Taton, and Roji in key roles.

The technical team includes Deep Sinam as music director, Karjit Sagolsem as assistant director, and Regan Kh as cinematographer and editor.
