CBC Imphal holds outreach programme on 'Viksit Bharat'

Imphal, January 15 2026: The Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Regional Office Imphal, in partnership with Ningombam Ideal Youth Club (NIYC), successfully hosted a special outreach programme on 'Viksit Bharat' at Ningombam Luxmi Bazar today.

As per a release issued by PIB Imphal, the event aimed to promote awareness and inspire collective action towards achieving the vision of a developed India.

The programme was attended by dignitaries, including Dr Chinglen Maisnam, Head of Department, South East Asian Studies, Manipur University; Okram Ibopishak Singh, Chief Finance Officer, EGF School; Ningombam Babu Singh, Lai Selungba; representative from Thoubal Ningou Lainingthou Lairembi Thougal Lup; and Ningombam Tomba Singh, Lecturer, Waikhom Mani Girls' College, and advisor NIYC.

In his address, Dr Chinglen Maisnam emphasized the significance of education and knowledge promotion, particularly to the students of Evergreen Flowers School.

The event also featured a quiz competition, with prizes handed out to the winners by the dignitaries.

A short play on Viksit Bharat was presented by PRT M/s Nokphade Cultural Foundation, Imphal and a theme song was performed by the Departmental troupe of CBC, RO, Imphal.
