MOBEDS invites applications for semi-conductor skill training

Churachandpur, August 14 2026: The Manipur Minorities & Economic Development Society (MOBEDS) has invited applications from eligible candidates for a skill training programme in Semi-Conductor Surface Mounting Technique at IIT Madras.

The residential training programme, fully funded by MOBEDS, will have 25 seats and run for 12-15 days.

The initiative aims to equip youths with skills for employment opportunities in the emerging semi-conductor sector.

Preference will be given to equal representation of male and female candidates from Minority, OBC and SC communities of Manipur.

Applicants must be permanent residents of Manipur, graduates within the last three to five years and aged between 18 and 35 years.

They must also be willing to work anywhere in India or abroad.

Job placement assistance will be provided after completion of the training.

Interested candidates may apply online through https://mobcmanipur.in by August 22, 2026.Screening and finalisation will be conducted by the District Administration and concerned DC/Deputy Commissioners on or before August 26.For further clarification, candidates may contact the Nodal Officer at 9863404060 during office hours.
