NSU shines at 39th National Youth Festival

Imphal, March 14 2026: The National Sports University (NSU) is celebrating a moment of immense pride and recognition following the remarkable achievements of two of its students at the 39th InterUniversity National Youth Festival (UNIFEST) 2025-26 .

The festival, held from March 10-14, 2026, at the Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology in Chennai, saw students from across the country compete in various events.

Jims Raikhan of BPES VI Semester secured the gold medal in Mimicry (Beatbox), showcasing exceptional talent.

Concurrently, Rishika Gehani of MASP II Semester earned a bronze medal in Hindi Elocution.

Their outstanding performances have brought significant honour to the university.

The university administration expressed heartfelt gratitude to the entire team, including Dr N Debala Chanu, Assistant Professor, and Dr S Premananda Singh, Assistant Professor and Dean Students' Welfare, for their expert guidance and unwavering support throughout the event, serving as its managers.
