National Lok Adalat at Chandel, Tengnoupal settles 16 cases

Chandel/Tengnoupal, December 13 2025: The District Legal Services Authority, Chandel under the joint aegis of National Legal Services and Manipur State Legal Services Authority held the 4th National Lok Adalat-2025 at Chandel and T engnoupal districts.

With a total settlement amount of Rs 5,45,882, a total of 16 cases were settled in the said National Lok Adalat, according to a statement issued by Phungreishung PA, secretary, DLSA, Chandel.

A total of two benches were constituted in the 4th National Lok Adalat.

Bench No 1 was presided by Binny Ngangom, District & Sessions Judge, Chandel cum Chairman, DLSA, Chandel as chairperson accompanied by Rajkumar Mohendro Singh, Advocate & Langhu Saimond Anal, Advocate as members of the bench.

Meanwhile, Bench No 2 was presided by Fakhrul Islam Choudhury, Judicial Magistrate First Class, Moreh as chairperson accompanied by Keishang Kopham, Remand Advocate, DLSA, Chandel and Jilkhochon Lhungdim, Advocate as members.
