Full dress rehearsal for I-Day celebration conducted

Thoubal, August 12 2024: The District Administration Thoubal today held a full dress rehearsal for Independence Day Parade, 2024 at Mini Secretariat, Thoubal.

Altogether, seven march past contingents from the Home Department, one band party and six cultural troupes from various schools of the district participated in today's full dress rehearsal.

Notably, Thingbaijam Kamaljit Singh, MPS, SDPO Thoubal will be the Parade Commander.

Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Thoubal A Subhash Singh, ADM B Lokeshor Sharma and other officials were also present at the rehearsal.

Deputy Commissioner Thoubal A Subhash Singh IAS will be the chief guest of the Independence Day celebration to be held at District Headquarter, Thoubal.

He will hoist the National Flag and take salute of the march past contingents consisting of police, band party and other cultural troupes.
