Imphal, November 11 2025: A group of unidentified miscreants set ablaze the office of the Sub-Divisional Officer/Block Development Officer at Tuibong, Churachandpur, last night around 8.45 .

According to a reliable source, documents pertaining to internally displaced persons (IDPs) are believed to have been destroyed in the blaze.

Local residents and Manipur Fire Service personnel responded to the incident, extinguishing the flames with the help of fire tenders.

Several sections of the office, along with important documents, furniture and electronic equipment at the premises, suffered damage.

A case has been registered at Churachandpur Police Station for investigation and appropriate legal action.
