MUC students win big at youth festival

Imphal, March 11 2025: Students of Manipur University of Culture have emerged as winners in four different events at the 8th AIU Inter University National YouthFestival2024-25 hosted by Amity University, Noida in Uttar Pradesh.

The festival was held under the supervision of Association of Indian Universities (AIU) from March 3 to 7.Notably, students from the MUC team bagged the first position in the Indian group song music event, classical solo dance (dance event), spot painting (fine arts event) and collage event.

Additionally, they also bagged second position in the solo Indian light vocal song category, fifth in the theatre event and third in the installation event.

Participating consecutively in the 36th, 37th and 38th edition of the youth festival, the MUC team have been unchallenged in the Indian solo dance, Indian group song, spot painting and collage events.

Speaking in this connection, Dr L Surjit Singh, Deputy Registrar, MUC, has attributed this victory to the dedication and sincere efforts of the teachers and students.
