Grand finale of 'Hunger Service Week' at Khwairamband Keithel today

Lions International District 322D will be organising the grand finale of the "Hunger Service Week" celebration at Khwairamband Keithel on January 11 from 7 am to 8.30 am.
Leaders and members of Lions International District 322D will be coming together in the spirit of service, compassion, and humanity to conclude the meaningful week dedicated to fighting hunger.
Lalit Kumar Kothari, DG, PDG(s), Hon co-ordinators will be attending the concluding function of the Mega Event.
As per a release issued by Lions International District 322D, the Lions International is observing Hunger Service Week (January 3-11, 2026) globally to combat food insecurity by organising local projects like food drives, community meals, and awareness campaigns, aiming to feed families, support sustainable farming, and empower vulnerable groups, turning compassion into tangible action against hunger.
Hunger Service Week is one of the three service initiatives for the year 2025-2026 besides Mental Health & Well Being and Environment as initiated by the international president AP Singh.
Lions Council of India is also organising Hunger Service Week across the country.
In Manipur, Lions International District 322D launched the Hunger Free Week on January 3 at Samurou High School Relief Camp, Imphal West.
