First aid training conducted

Imphal, October 09 2026:
Indian Army conducted a one day first aid training capsule at Yambem High School to equip students and school staff with essential life-saving skills and enhance preparedness during medical emergencies.
85 students, 15 teachers and members of the School Management Committee attended the programme.
Participants were sensitised to the recognition and management of emergencies, including cardiac arrest, seizures, fractures, fainting, snakebites, dog bites, bleeding wounds and choking, and practical demonstrations and supervised exercises on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) were conducted.
Winners of a quiz competition were feted with stationery kits as tokens of appreciation.
