ABVP Manipur celebrates Raksha Bandhan

Imphal, August 09 2025: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Manipur celebrated Raksha Bandhan with great enthusiasm at several places across the State.

The celebration was marked by the spirit of love, unity, and respect, said a release issued.

ABVP girl karyakartas tied rakhi to soldiers of the Army Battalion as a gesture of gratitude for their dedication and service to the Nation.

They also visited various educational campuses, where they celebrated with students and faculty members, spreading the message of harmony and brotherhood.

At the ABVP State Office in Imphal, members gathered to observe the occasion, strengthening the bond of mutual trust and commitment within the organisation.

The event was not only a festival celebration but also a way to honour those who protect and guide society.

Speaking on the occasion, ABVP Manipur leaders said that Raksha Bandhan is not just a festival for brothers and sisters but also a symbol of protecting values, culture, and the nation.

They emphasised that such celebrations help connect the youth with the idea of Seva (service) and Sanskriti (culture).

The programme concluded with prayers for peace, prosperity, and the well-being of the state and the country.
