Bishnupur, November 06 2025: Deputy Commissioner of Bishnupur, Pooja Elangbam today briefed the media at the conference hall of Mini Secretariat Complex, Bishnupur regarding the upcoming Sardar@150 Unity March to be held on November 10 & 12, 2025 in the district.

Briefing the media, Pooja Elangbam stated that as part of this campaign, the District Administration assisted by My Bharat Volunteers Bishnupur, NSS Cell Manipur, NCC and line departments of the district will be organising a "Unity March" Sardar@150 Padyatra on November 10 at Kiyamba Shanglen for Bishnupur Block and at India Peace Memorial Centre on 12th for Nambol Block.

She reiterated that the Sardar@ 150 Unity March is an initiative launched by My Bharat, Government of India to commemorate the 150th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India.

The press meet was also attended by Lisam Amaijit Kumar Singh, State Director Mera Yuva Bharat, Manipur; Dr Dhana Chandra Salam, Jt Director Mera Yuva Bharat and officials concerned.
