Noney, August 06 2024: In a bid to promote cleanliness and community service, Noney Battalion of Assam Rifle conducted a cleanliness drive at Gangluan-II Village which falls under Noney district.

The drive aimed to bring together locals and Assam rifle personnel to clean and beautify the area, said a statement by the Assam Rifles.

The cleanliness drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from the local communities.

The locals collected trash, cleared drains and cleaned public spaces thereby spreading awareness about the importance of sanitation and hygiene.

The event also encouraged community ownership of cleanliness initiatives, promoting a sense of responsibility among locals to maintain their surrounding.

The event culminated with a tree plantation programme.

The participants expressed their gratitude to Assam rifle for their continuous support.
