Imphal, March 06 2025: As part of the National Integration Tour (NIT) organised by Assam Rifles formation under Spear Corps, a group of 17 boys and 11 girls visited prominent military and historical sites in the national capital on March 5 and 6 .

According to a PRO IGAR (S) release, on March 5, the participants explored the Indian Air Force Museum, Rajputana Rifles Regimental Centre, and the iconic Red Fort.

These visits offered valuable insights into India's military history and the country's struggle for independence, allowing the young visitors to witness first-hand the legacy and sacrifices of the armed forces.

Continuing their educational journey on March 6, the group visited the National Security Guard (NSG) Centre, where they were introduced to the elite counter-terrorism force's operations, training modules, and advanced technical capabilities, highlighting the strength and preparedness of the Indian Defence Forces.

The tour also included lo-cal sightseeing, providing the participants with an immersive cultural experience.

Over the four-day stay in Delhi, the students gained a comprehensive perspective on the capital's architectural and historical grandeur.

A highlight of the tour was an interactive session with the President of India, said the PRO .
