RSS centenary celebration observed at Khongjom

Thoubal, October 05 2025: Joining the rest of the nation in commemorating the centenary of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the Vijayadashami Utsav was held today at the residence of Langpoklakpam Deven Singh located at Khongjom Sapam Leikai, Thoubal district, organised by the Khongjom BJP Mandal.

Held under the theme "Ima Nangidamak Thawai Thajage", the celebration was graced by Manipur Prant, Prant Karyakami Sadasya (executive member) Laishram Jatra as chief guest; and retd officer of the Manipur Police Department, Ch Chandramani as functional president.

The programme began by performing the Shastra Puja, folowed by hoisting of the RSS saffron flag, and paying floral tributes to the portraits of RSS founding members.

During the event, speakers highlighted the noble ideals and principles upon which the RSS was founded, recalling its century-long journey of service to the nation.

They also underscored the numerous welfare and activities undertaken by the organisation for the welfare of the country.
