Imphal, June 05 2025: The Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited (MSPDCL), Lilong Sub Division has informed all concerned that in connection with the power failure of Lilong Haoreibi Mayai Leikai due to burnt of 1x250 KVA Transformer installed at Lilong Haoreibi Mayai Leikai on June 1, 2025, the damaged transformer has been transported to MSPDCL workshop Keishampat on June 2, 2025 and is being under repairing and expected to restore the power supply within few days.

The MSPDCL, Lilong Sub-Division in a release stated that an individual claiming to represent HIDA Club has made baseless allegations on social media, accusing the office and MSPDCL for dereliction of duty.

Stating that the allegation is unreasonable, unacceptable and incompatible, the Manager of MSPDCL Lilong Sub-Division, MD Hedayatullah said that MSPDCL is and will always be committed to serve in public interest.
