NMBA campaign continues in Thoubal

Thoubal, March 05 2025: District Administration Thoubal in association with District Social Welfare Office, Thoubal today organised awareness programme in different part of the District as part of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.

As part of the month-long campaign an awareness programme was held today at Charangpat Mamang Leikai.

CMO Thoubal Dr Y Nokul and DPM Thoubal Ch Basanta were the resource persons of the program.

At the program, the resource persons spoke about substance abuse and de-ad-diction.

Around 90 people, mostly women, participated in the awareness programme.

As part of the program posters were also pasted to spread awareness to the people on substance abuse.

It is worth mentioning that Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan is an ambitious programme launched by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment in August 2020 to make India a drug free nation.
