ADG BSF visits Manipur

Imphal, August 03 2025: Mahesh Kumar Aggarwal, Additional Director General (ADG) of BSF Eastern Command, Kolkata assessed the prevailing security situation in Manipur and reviewed operational preparedness of the BSF Coys deployed here.

The ADG BSF arrived here on August 1 on a 2-day visit.

He was received at the Imphal International Airport by Ravi Kant, IG, BSF M&C Frontier and other senior BSF officers.

The ADG and IG BSF called on Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla, and later met Security Advisor Kuldiep Singh and DGP Rajiv Singh.

The ADG visited various BSF locations in Thoubal district, and interacted with commanders and troops.

On August 2, the ADG BSF along with other senior officers visited various BSF locations in Bishnupur and Churachandpur districts.

During his visit to Churachandpur, he also visited the STC Churachandpur and held a Sainik Sammelan where he addressed the officers and troops.

Aggarwal directed the officers and troops to perform their assigned tasks with utmost dedication and professionalism towards maintaining law & order situation in Manipur.

He left Imphal for Kolkata today.
