Peace Committee Kangleipak extends humanitarian aid to flood victims

Moirang, June 02 2025: The Peace Committee Kangleipak has extended humanitarian aid to the people affected by the devastating flood which left a trail of destruction in many districts of the State.

Today for the first phase, the special fifty team of Peace Committee Kangleipak distributed relief materials to the 25 flood affected victims who have been taking shelter at Panthoibi Community Hall, Heingang Mayai Leikai and to another 70 victims who have been taking shelter at Heingang Kangjeibung Multipurpose Rural Development Centre under Heingang AC.

The distributed relief materials include edible items, blankets and medical kits.

In this regard, the flood victims have expressed their gratitude to the team of Peace Committee Manipur for providing the much needed assistance to the people and have also urged the Government to adequately provide all the necessary relief materials seeing the plight of the people.
