Imphal, December 01 2025: The Union Assembly of Zeliangrong Union (Assam, Manipur & Nagaland) was held at its head office in Kakhulong, Paona Bazar, Imphal on November 28.As per a release issued by ZU(AMN), the Assembly unanimously elected the new president and four vice presidents of the union for the term 2026-2028 .

The House elected Lungsu Panmei of Tamenglong as the new president of ZU(AMN) .

Ashing Kamel of Noney, Langangdim Panmei of Imphal West, Namdinang Daimai of Tamenglong and Z Elamsappe of Senapati were also elected as the new vice presidents.

The oath taking and handing over ceremony will be held on December 15 at ZU Head Office in Kakhulong at 11 am .
