Imphal, August 01 2026: Needy Home Academy, Mapao Zingtun (Khullen), observed its 23 rd Annual Literary Meet 2026 today at the school auditorium.

Commissioner of Minority Affairs, SC & OBC, Manipur, Armstrong Pame, attended as chief guest.

Dr Arambam Noni, Associate Professor, Political Science, DM University, was guest of honour.

Needy Home chairman Dr R Chance presided over the function.

Addressing the gathering, Armstrong Pame urged students to work hard for a bright future, saying success comes from dedication, not just classroom learning.

He also called on teachers to guide students properly to reduce dependence on tuition culture.

Dr Arambam Noni urged students to promote unity, understand global issues and stay away from drug abuse.

Students presented songs, poems and a symposium during the event.
