AR dedicates community hall; builds public toilets

Imphal, March 01 2025: Assam Rifles inaugurated a multipurpose community hall at Joupi village, Khengjoi sub-division, Chandel district on Friday.

A release of PRO IGAR (S) informed that the inaugural ceremony was attended by representatives of civil society organisations (CSOs) and villagers.

The multipurpose hall was constructed as part of Operation Sadbhavana.

A debate competition was also organised on the occasion, and children from the local school also presented a cultural programme, it added.

Meanwhile, AR constructed three public toilets in T Bongmol village, Tengnoupal district in line with the national vision of 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' and sustainable rural development ensuring larger goals of public health, dignity and improved quality of life for all, another release by PRO IGAR (S) said.
