Free medical camp benefits 200 residents of Lourembam

Thoubal, February 01 2026: A one-day free medical camp was held today at Lourembam in Thoubal district, organised by the Kangleipak Students Association (KSA), Thoubal District Council, in collaboration with District Health Society, Thoubal.

The initiative aimed to provide basic health care services to residents of Lourembam and Langmeithet Around 200 people attended the camp and received free consultations and health check-ups.

Free medicines were also distributed to patients.

KSA said the camp forms part of its ongoing series of community medical outreach programmes across the State and expressed hope that similar people-centric initiatives will continue in other areas for the welfare of the public.

KSA extended its gratitude to NGL, local members of Lourembam, CMO Thoubal and the staff of District Health Society, Thoubal for their support and cooperation in organising the camp successfully.
