Imphal, April 30 2025: The Protection of Meetei Victims' Moreh (COPMeV) has announced that it will observed May 3, 2025 as "Observation for United Manipur" at Ideal Girls' College to mark the 2nd anniversary of the outbreak of the ethnic violence in the State.

The COPMeV Convenor, Th Budha in a release has appealed all the displaced people from Moreh who are taking shelter at various relief camps of the valley district to take part in the event, Similarly Ibudhou Thangjing Pana, Moirang Subdivision Village Volunteer Force (VVF) has announced that it will observed May 3, 2025 as "Yelhoumi-Singbu Mikap Thokhanba Numit" in collaboration with Manipur Chanura Lamjing Lup (MACHALL) at Hemam Nilamani Ngangkha Lampak Sports Complex, Moirang.

A release issued by the convemor Y Tomba Khuman, of Ibudhou Thangjing Pana said that the observance will begin from 7 am by paying floral tributes to the martyrs who have sacrificed for the motherland.

He appealed to the family members of martyrs, people of all communities, civil society organisations, community leaders to take part in the remembrance event.
