State's first automated vehicle testing station to come up at Lamlai

Imphal, August 28 2026: Manipur's first Automated Vehicle Testing Station/Inspection and Certification Centre will be constructed at Sheijang in Lamlai AC .

A team led by Lamlai AC MLA Kh Ibomcha on Friday inspected the site identified for the centre, which is expected to be constructed soon.

The inspection was attended by PDA EE Pari Angom, AE P Rana Pratap, SO Pradgumna, contractor L Romesh Meitei, Tellou Chana Seijang GP Chairperson Waikhom Herojit and others.

Speaking on the sideline, Kh Ibomcha said work for the centre will begin at the earliest and appealed to local residents to extend cooperation for timely completion of the project.
