Club, family extend gratitude

Bishnupur, June 28 2025: Laitonjam Youth and Students' Club have extended heartfelt gratitude to the officials of Nambol Fire Sub-Station for saving the life of Mongjam Christopher Singh from Laitonjam Mayai Leikai.

According to a press release issued by the Club, Mongjam Christopher had an accident yesterday night as his car fell into Leinambi River along Phadibi Road.

Without any thought for their own safety, Nambol Fire Sub-Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Kachangbung Golmei and his team jumped into the river and saved Christopher's life.

Christopher's family have also conveyed deep gratitude to the Nambol Fire Sub-Station team for their heroic act.

The Club has also urged the concerned authority to complete the unfinished bridge along Phadibi Road to prevent such mishaps in the future.
