Imphal, November 27 2025: A 20-day workshop cum production on "Panthoibi Thanghai" concluded today at The Laikon Upper Primary Government School, Kongba Makha Nandeibam Leikai, Imphal East district.

The workshop was organised by Meetei Indigenous Thang-Ta & Cultural Institute (MITTACI), Kongba Kshetri Leikai under the sponsorship of Chief Minister gi Arstistessingi Tengbang (CMAT), Directorate of Art & Culture, Manipur.

The closing function was accompanied by a 1-day orientation programme on Thang-Ta for students.

The event was graced by Wanglembam Gobin, Headmaster, The Laikon Upper Primary Government School; Khundrakpam Surchandra Meitei, Director, MITTACI; and Guru Puthem Mangi Singh, State Kala Akademi awardee as presidium members.

Performances of Thang-Ta, Hari Riha and Dasavatre were the main highlights of the event.

About 140 students actively participated in the orientation programme.
