Biren takes part in CMs' conclave

Imphal, July 27 2024:
Chief minister N Biren Singh attended the CMs' conclave of the NDA-ruled states held on Saturday at BJP national headquarters in New Delhi.
Chaired jointly by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP national president JP Nadda; the conclave was participated by Chief ministers and deputy chief ministers of states ruled by NDA.
It was the first time for CM Biren Singh to attend such a meet after the violence broke out in Manipur on May 3, 2023 .
The conclave held after the end of Niti Ayog meet earlier in the day continued till late evening and is likely to resume Sunday morning.
The discussion at the conclave mainly dwelt on results of the recently conducted Lok Sabha elections, performance of the party in legislative assembly elections held in some states recently, delivering of welfare schemes to the people and preparations for the upcoming assembly elections.
The conclave was also attended by Union home minister Amit Shah, Union minister Bhupendra Yadav and BJP national general secretary BL Santosh.
