Imphal, February 27 2025: An assessment camp for senior citizens and Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) was held today at Ibudhou Pureiromba Thougallup Community Hall, Bamon Kampu.

The assessment camp was organised by the Social Welfare Department, Government of Manipur in collaboration with Composite Regional Centre for Skill Development.

Rehabilitation & Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (CRCSRE), Takyel; Ibudhou Pureiromba Thougal Lup and Bamon Kampu Apunba VLF.

Speaking on the occasion, CRCSRE Takyel director Ngasepam Khoibi said that the assessment camp was conducted for identification and distribution of aids & assistive devices to PwDs and senior citizens under ADIP and RVY schemes.

She asserted that after this camp, senior citizens above the age of 60 years and PwDs will be able to receive various benefits provided by the Government.

Ngasepam Khiboi stated that PwDs may also avail the benefits of physiotherapy, speech therapy, special education and occupational therapy at the CRCSRE Takyel.
