Imphal, February 26 2025: Following the demand raised by the students of the South East Manipur College, Komlathabi to revoke the appointment order of new Principal of South East Manipur College (SEMCO), the Students' Union of SEMCO has locked the office of the Principal and Administrative office.

The Student's Union of SEMCO in a release has stated that the office of the Principal and Administrative office will be locked until the order of new Principal appointment is revoked.

"The agitation will intensify if the authorities concerned foil to meet the demand of the students", said Wangdam Lamkang, general secretary of Student's Union in a release.

Meanwhile, the newly appointed Principal who was coming to take charge as new Principal of South East Manipur, College was stopped by Students from entering the college on Tuesday.
