Evening daily 'Paodamkhol' launched

Bishnupur, September 24 2026: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADM) Bishnupur Toijam Opendro has urged everyone to rely on credible news sources like mainstream media to avoid being misinformed by unverified news reports circulating on social media.

He opined that such unverified news uploaded by social media influencers to gain views often lead to chaos and mislead the public rather than disseminating accurate information.

Opendro made the above statement during the launch event of the first ever evening paper of Bishnupur district named 'Paodamkhol' held today.

With the publication of an evening paper in Bishnupur, the ADM Bishnupur expressed that the residents of the district will be updated with the recent news and need not wait till morning to receive the newspaper from Imphal.

Today's launch event was also attended by PA to Deputy Commissioner Bishnupur Sagolshem Motilal, District Manager IT Bishnupur Oinam Prasanta, All Bishnupur District Working Journalist Union members and other renowned personalities.
