Workshop on 'Ta-Khousaba' concludes

Imphal, August 23 2026: A workshop on 'Ta-Khousaba' concluded today at Cheirap Loisang Manipur.

Organised by Garot Loisang under Cheirap Loisang, Manipur, with support from Tanyei Loisang, Amaiba Loisang, Amaibi Loisang, Pena Loisang, Jagoi Loisang, Panji Loisang and Chinguba Nongdam Shanglen, the workshop was held from August 20 to August 23 at the Meeting Shanglen of Cheirap Loisang Manipur.

The closing function was attended by Angom Rosorajmani, Angom Ningthou Manipur as chief guest, Sorokhaibam Purno, Nongthomba Cheirap Loisang as president and S Amuba, Senapati, Garot Loisang as guest of honour.

At the event, speakers said that reviewing the various rules and norms of 'Ta-Khousaba', the traditional Manipuri spear-fighting and martial exercise handed down by ancestors, and preserving them for posterity is a significant responsibility of Cheirap Loisang and Garot Loisang.

Certificates were distributed to the participants of the workshop.
