Education Minister inaugurates classrooms of Kangthokchao Upper Primary School

Education Minister Thokchom Radheshyam inaugurated 10 classrooms of the Kangthokchao Upper Primary School, Salungpham, constructed under Engineering Wing, Education (S), Government of Manipur.
The Minister expressed that it is a must to provide students with good infrastructure in best possible way.
He stressed that effort to improve infrastructure of the schools for better education in the State is one of the main priorities of the present Government.
It is also necessary that the public regard the school as their own property and protect them, he added.
He said that 'School Fagathansi' was launched with an aim towards overall improvement of the Government schools.
Satisfied with the timely completion of the classrooms, he said that it is 'truly a blessing that on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami, the classrooms are being inaugurated.' He added that schools are the purest form of holiness where children from different background come to get education to secure the future.
He also lauded the efforts and strict supervision of the School Development Management Committee for keeping in check the quality of the construction work.
He said that guiding the students to the right direction is the duty of the guardians and teachers.
Students are the future pillars and it is important that education is imparted to them to lead and let others live a better life for a progress and developed society.
Giving her presidential speech, Deputy Commissioner, Thoubal district, N Bandana sought support and feedback from people to successfully implement Government schemes in the district.
She also informed the gathering that a public pond will soon be developed at Kangyambem for rain water harvesting.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by the elected representatives of PRI, concerned officials of Directorate of Education (S), teachers, students and locals.
