Noney, May 23 2019: Farewell programme of Col Saurabh Charan, CO, 8th AR Noney was held yesterday at the campus of 8th AR Longmai (Noney) .

The CO, speaking on the occasion conveyed gratitude to the organisation leaders & general public for their unwavering cooperation.

He had tried at his level best to maintained peaceful atmosphere in the area.

The work he could not do for the Longmai (Noney) area communities will be continued by 10th AR, he said.

He urged public leaders to extend cooperation to 10th AR to maintain peace and harmony in the area.

Kenan Kamei, president RNCM, and Adai Dangmei chairman Longmai Area Village Council and some organisation leaders commended the 8th AR under the Command of CO Col Saurabh Charran, for having done many good jobs for the Longmai public.

Rev Vinod Panmei, Pastor, Longmai-2, Baptist Church/ Chairman Longmai Churches Fellowship also bade farewell to the CO and led a blessing prayer for CO & his battalion.

The outgoing CO and newly posted officers were honoured with Rongmei traditional shawls as token of love appreciation.
