Imphal, November 22 2025: The Moirangpurel Village Development Committee has claimed that the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) dashboard contains false information regarding household tap connections in Moirangpurel village, Imphal East district.

As per a release issued by the Moirangpurel Village Development Committee, the JJM dashboard reports 322 functional household tap connections in Moirangpurel village.

But in stark contrast to the JJM dashboard, not a single household in the entire village has functional tap water connection under JJM scheme.

The Committee appealed to the relevant Department to conduct a proper survey in the village before December 10, 2025 and take appropiate action against those involved in manipulating data to fool the public.

The Committee also cautioned that if the Government and relevant Departments failed to take necessary action before December 10, 2025, people of Moirangpurel area will be compelled to launch an intense stir.
